Baby, It's Cold Outside

Baby, It's Cold Outside I hope you all had a beautiful Christmas and that you've all had some time to relax during these days. I'm writing this post from my parents home in Skurup (a small town in Southern Sweden). I'm not sure if it's only an illusion but there seems to be more sun hours in this particular area than on the west coast, where it rains a lot! At the moment I'm enjoying the beauty of a sun drenched apartment, looking out of the window on the empty small town streets.

Today I'm posting some pictures that were taken during the first week of December when the first snow came to town. As I've mentioned earlier, Gothenburg was grey and dull during November - almost in a doomsday-kind-of-way. The lack of daylight and darkness was starting to get rather tiresome and persistent. But all of a sudden the air became frosty and snowflakes started falling from the sky.

On a Saturday around lunch time I pulsed around in the snowy surroundings. The air was crispy and it was very very cold outside. Henrik followed me around with the camera, and at one point I was distracted by a little child singing on a sledding and it was hard not to smile heartily at the cuteness. After walking around for about an hour, looking at trees and frosty plants, we went for hot chocolate - the best thing after a long walk in the snow.

Baby, It's Cold Outside Yes, I'm blurry here, but look at the background and the sunlight - isn't it amazingly beautiful? :)Baby, It's Cold Outside

At the moment the snow is already gone, but hopefully there will be some more of it during the beginning of next year. I also look forward to doing some more outfit posts then.

Now it's time for fika with the family again - you can never have to much fika I guess :)

Wishing you all a beautiful day!
